Spacex
SpaceX, officially known as Space Exploration Technologies Corp., is an American aerospace manufacturer and space transportation company founded by Elon Musk in 2002. The company aims to reduce space transportation costs to enable the colonization of Mars and to make space travel more accessible. SpaceX is known for developing the Falcon 1, Falcon 9, and Falcon Heavy launch vehicles, as well as the Dragon spacecraft. It has achieved numerous milestones in spaceflight, including the first privately funded liquid-fueled rocket to reach orbit, the first privately-developed spacecraft to reach the International Space Station (ISS), and the first to send astronauts into orbit.
